Kenzan might look a little imposing, but he's a pretty laid-back guy who enjoys kicking back with his friends. He used to be the leader of a small-time gang, and was not very successful at it, owing largely to his inability to keep up his "tough guy" act for very long (he was caught once too often volunteering at animal shelters and helping little old ladies cross the street). He is, however, a good fighter and immensely strong, so it's not a good idea to make him angry. He's not always the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree, and more likely to think with his fists than his brain. He applies that same strategy to his dueling, playing a dinosaur deck tuned to crush opponents with raw power.
Owing to a little accident involving a rockslide and an impromptu bone transplant, Kenzan has "dinosaur DNA", which has some good effects (like giving him increased strength and heightened senses) and also some bad effects (like an occasional but compelling temptation to eat anything that moves). He's still figuring out all the effects this odd mutation has had on him.
